Storage/winter protection
The unit is not frost-proof and has to be removed and put into storage if minus temperatures
are expected.
How to correctly store the unit:
• Thoroughly clean the unit.
• Check the unit for damage and replace damaged components.
• Drain the water remaining in the unit, in the hoses, pipes and connections as much as possi-
ble.
• Protect electrical connections from moisture and dirt.
• Store the pump submerged and in a frost-free environment.
• Protect open plug connections from moisture and dirt.

The UVC lamp is not lit

Cause
The water is extremely soiled.
The quartz glass is soiled.
UVC lamp capacity is too low
Excessive pond volume
Flow rate too low or too high
Power plug is not plugged in
UVC lamp is defective
Connection is defective
UVC lamp has overheated
Remedy
• Remove algae and leaves from
the pond.
• Clean the pond thoroughly.
• Change the water.
Clean the quartz glass.
The lamp must be replaced after
8000 operating hours.
Add additional UVC clarifier
Adhere to the recommended flow
rate
Plug in the power plug
Replace the UVC lamp
Check the electrical connection
• The UVC lamp will automatically
switch on again once it has
cooled down
• If there is strong sunlight, posi-
tion the unit under a roof
• Increase the flow rate to pre-
vent increased heating in the
water housing
