8.11 Attaching balance weights
The monitor shows the basic balancing screen with the
value of the balance weights to be attached based on
the entered and measured data and an indicator for
positioning the balance weights.

plane

4 Indicator for positioning the balance weight for the second

5 Indicator for the recommended direction in which to rotate the
wheel in order to reach the selected balancing plane as quickly
as possible
Back to the data collection screen
Symbols Function
After the symbol has been pressed, the data
collection screen will be shown again. That way,
the reference data of the wheel or the balancing
program can be changed.
The screen contains the functions already described in
the preceding sections and one additional symbol.

Symbols Description
After a tap on the symbol, the basic balancing
screen will be displayed and none of the changes
made will be saved.

Selection of the type of vehicle for the OSD function
Symbols Function
With the OSD function active:
After a tap on the symbol, the selection of static
and dynamic imbalance optimization will be shown
based on the type of vehicle to be balanced.
With the OSD function inactive:
After the symbol is pressed, the exact
measurements are indicated without being rounded
for imbalance.

Symbols Description
After a tap on the symbol, the display of the
balancing value with the OSD function for
passenger cars will be activated.
The other OSD functions will be deactivated.
After a tap on the symbol, the display of the
balancing value with the OSD function for SUVs will
be activated.
The other OSD functions will be deactivated.
After a tap on the symbol, the display of the
balancing value with the OSD function for trucks
will be activated.
The other OSD functions will be deactivated.
After a tap on the symbol, the display of the
balancing value with the OSD function for sports
cars will be activated.
The other OSD functions will be deactivated.
After a tap on the symbol, the display of the
balancing value with the OSD function will be
deactivated.
After this option has been activated, the exact,
un-rounded imbalance value measured will be
displayed.

Tap the symbol to show the balancing screen
again and make no changes.
Calling up the "Minimize imbalance" program
Symbols Function
After a tap on the symbol, the "Minimize imbalance"
program will be opened, which is intended for
cases when a severe imbalance (more than 50 g)
has been detected.
