13.6.1
Calling up the calibration menu
1. Tap the
symbol in the status bar.
2. Tap the
symbol on the first menu level.
3. Tap the
symbol on the second menu level.
4. Enter and confirm the password 2857.
 The third level will be called up for selecting the
type of calibration.

Calibrating the flange

Follow the instructions shown on the monitor.
1. Fit the flange.

Do not attach a wheel.
i
On the mechanical version, do not use a clamping
device.
i
On pneumatic versions, install the spacer plate and
secure it on the machine shaft.
2. Call up the calibration menu.

3. Tap the
symbol on the third menu level.
 The calibration process will start.
4. Close the wheel guard.
 The measurement will start.

The unbalance has been set to a value of "0".
5. Close calibration by tapping the associated symbol.

Calibrate the electronic rim distance gauge
and the sonar probe.

Follow the instructions shown on the monitor.
1. Call up the calibration menu.
2. Tap the
symbol on the third menu level.
 The calibration process will start.

When the rim data is calibrated, the handle of the
electronic rim distance gauge must be held correctly
to avoid errors during balancing.

3. Set the electronic rim distance gauge B to 0 mm to
read off the distance.
