8 End-of-life & disposal
Electrical and electronic devices must be disposed of separately from household and
clinical waste.
The battery may contain toxic or hazardous material and must be disposed of in the
appropriate electronic waste stream (E.G. WEEE Directive). This will guarantee that
no hazardous substances will enter the environment and that valuable raw materials are
recycled.
