MODESTY
PANEL (L)
1- -7/8" FLAT HEAD SCREW (XX)
(2 used in this step)
- Carefully turn the hutch over onto its front edges. To balance and support the hutch, place some packing foam and
magazines under the HUTCH TOP (F).
- Fasten the MODESTY PANEL (L) to the DESK TOP (E) as shown. Tighten the TWIST-LOCK
in the MODESTY PANEL.
IMPORTANT:
Do not allow the MODESTY PANEL to hang freely until it is fastened to the UPRIGHT (I).
NOTE:
Be sure the notch in the MODESTY PANEL is positioned toward the DESK TOP as shown.
Be sure the unfinished surface of the MODESTY PANEL is facing up. Follow the diagram.
- Fasten the MODESTY PANEL (L) to the UPRIGHT (I). Use two 1- -7/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (XX) through
the indicated holes in the UPRIGHT and into the pre- -drilled holes in the edge of the MODESTY PANEL.
NOTE:
You should start each SCREW a few turns before tightening them. Do not overtighten
the SCREWS.
