the tap and let the water out of the hose by opening
the hose nozzle/gun.
Pull all the hose out in a straight line. Walk back to
the reel with the end of the hose and trigger the
rewind mechanism by taking hold of the hose near
to the reel, and gently pull the hose about 15 to
30cm to release the latch.
(Ensure that nothing is obstructing the hose whilst
the rewind procedure is active.)
• The hose will not rewind unless it is pulled a short
distance (15 to 30cm) away from the reel and then
walked back towards the reel.
• Use the lock on the side of the reel to lock the hose
when not in use.
• Dip the end of the hose into a bowl of hot water for
30s to make it easier to fit to the hose connectors.

FIT THE FRONT LEG
• Position the cart so that one of the side discs is
facing you.
• Gently lift and remove the side disc. Repeat on the
opposite side, and put both to one side. (Figs.1 & 2)
• With the front of the reel facing you, tilt it slowly
backwards until the rear handle is resting on the
floor.
• Pull the front leg upwards into position. You will hear
a click once the leg is secure. (Fig.3)
• Take the plastic foot (B) and locate it onto the front
leg. Align the screw holes on the metal with the
holes on the plastic foot.
Use 10mm bolts(U) to secure the plastic foot to the
front leg. (Fig.4)
• Holding the leg in its forward position, not stowed,
tip the reel forward again so it is upright.
FIT THE REAR ACCESSORY BASKET
• With the rear of the product facing you, take the
accessory basket (D) and locate the central bottom
tabs into the corresponding case slots (Fig. 5). Push
into place.
• Align the two side tabs with the corresponding slots,
and push down to fit. (Fig.6)
• As you push down, the basket should lightly snap
into place and be retained. (Fig.7)
ATTACH THE WHEELS
• Take the axle tube (G) and push into one of the stub
axles (H) (Fig.8)
• Feed the axle tube into the case until the stub axle
locates into the pocket. Twist stub axle as shown to
fix. (Fig.9)
• Take the remaining stub axle and push onto the
protruding end of the axle tube
• Twist stub axle as shown to fix. (one clockwise, one
anti-clockwise) (Fig.10)
• Use 13mm screws (R) x2 to secure and lock stub
axles. (Fig.11)
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!
• Position the large wheel (J) as shown to the stub
axle (ensure the flat portion faces inwards towards
main body). (Fig.12)
• Secure using the wheel retainer (M) and 19mm
screw (S). (Figs.13 & 14)
• Align the 4 tabs on the wheel trims (K) and push
onto the wheels. (Fig.15)
• Repeat operation for the opposite side of the cart.
FIT THE TOWING HANDLE
• Take the 2 x tow handle adaptors (I) and push to
fit them into the accessory rack (F) until it clicks.
(Fig.16)
• Orientate the tow handle (E) as shown (Fig. 17),
then fit onto the accessory rack and secure using
19mm screws (S) x2. (Fig.18)
HINT: The handle assembly needs positioning to
fit the two ribs within the accessory rack pocket.
• Loosen the 2 plastic collars from the case clamps,
and remove (Fig.19)
• Align the notch on the 2 x handle tubes (L) with the
case clamps, and push each down to fit. Take care
not to damage the plastic teeth on the cart. (Fig.20)
(You should expect some resistance at first as the
tubes push past the locking rib.)
• Replace the plastic collars over the tubes. (Fig.21)
HINT: Leave the collars loose until following steps
complete.
• Take the assembled plastic handle, and push fit
onto the handle tubes, until they bottom out.
(Fig.22).
• Turn the handle tubes so that the raised pips are
facing away from the hook feature on the accessory
rack. Secure the tubes using 38mm screws (T) x2.
(Fig.23)
HINT: The holes in the handle tubes and accessory
rack need to align before you fit the screws.
• Adjust the handle to the required height and tighten
the plastic collars on to the clamp to secure. (Fig.24)
CONNECT THE FEEDER HOSE AND
FITTINGS
If the feeder hose supplied is too short to reach your
tap, replace it with a good quality 12.5mm (½") hose.
Attaching the feeder hose:
• Position the cart so that the side without the safety
lock is facing you.
• Two screws hold the plate on the hose connector in
place. Remove these two screws. (Fig.25)
NEVER attempt to remove the other two black
security screws!
• Remove the hose connector. (Fig.26) Feed the hose
through the opening, then unscrew the hose nut
from the hose connector and slide it onto the hose.
(Fig.27)
• Push the end of the hose into the inlet teeth and
tighten the nut. Ensure that the hose is pushed all
the way into the connector. (Fig.28)
• Replace the hose connector into the Auto Reel
Mobile and tighten the two screws. (Fig.29)
• Re-fit the side discs making sure they click in place.
(Fig.30)
Attach the hose end connector (O) to the free end
of the feeder hose. (Fig.31) Attach the water stop
connector (P) to the watering hose at the mouth of
the cart. (Fig.32) Connect the nozzle (Q) supplied to
the water stop connector. (Fig.33)
HINT: Dip the end of the hose into a bowl of hot
water for 30s to make it easier to fit to the hose
connectors.
INSTALLING THE AUTO REEL MOBILE
• Attach the threaded tap connector (N) to your tap
and connect the feeder hose to it via the hose end
connector. (Fig.34)

before using it for the first time. Check for leaks and
re-tighten hose connections if necessary.
USING THE CART

walk away from the cart.
HINT: To avoid the unit tipping over, ensure that
the cart is orientated towards your direction of

• The cart has an automatic latch to hold the hose in
place for use at any required length. The hose may
be placed on the ground and will not rewind.
• If more hose is required, pull out as necessary.

hose length limit, as it will move/tip

to 30cm away from the cart to release the locking
mechanism. Walk back towards the cart. Always
hold the hose end whilst it rewinds. If you are
