6. TARJETAS OPCIONALES

6.1 Llave de programación PCO100KEY0
La llave de programación, que representa una de las novedades más
interesantes del pCO 1 , se puede utilizar para transferir (carga y descar-
ga) el software de aplicación.
• La llave para el pCO 1 y pCO C
memoria flash y es suministrada por CAREL con el
BOOT y la BIOS que gestiona 1 MB. De este modo,
las mismas llaves se pueden utilizar con controla
dores pCO 1 que tienen bién 1 MB o bién 2 MB.
Para aprovechar completamente los 2 MB para
copiar aplicaciones más grandes o una serie de
idiomas para la misma aplicación, utilice
WinLoad32 versión 3.xx y cargue el BOOT versión
3.xx, la BIOS versión 3.xx y reinicie la aplicación
(ver 'Copia de WinLoad32 a la llave, utilizando el
pCO1'). O, copie del pCO 1 a la LLAVE utilizando
un pCO con flash de 2 MB donde ya se han carga-

do el BOOT versiones 3.xx, la BIOS 3.xx y la apli-
cación.
• ATENCIÓN: las llaves o los controladores pCO
cargados con el BOOT versión 3.xx también
DEBEN tener la BIOS versión 3.xx y DEBEN comu-
nicarse SÓLO con WinLoad32 versión 3.xx.
• ATENCIÓN: si se copia de la LLAVE al pCO
una LLAVE que tenga el BOOT versión 3.xx y la
BIOS versión 3.xx, y el pCO 1
una vez completada la operación de copiar, SE DEBE descargar la
aplicación al pCO 1 utilizando WinLoad32 versión 3.xx.

6.2 Expansión de memoria PCO100CEF0
Si la memoria FLASH existente para el software de aplicación o para
los registros de datos no es suficiente, el pCO
memoria añadiendo una tarjeta de expansión.
También existe la opción de la tarjeta de reloj y 32 KB de memoria
E 2 PROM.
Si desea utilizar el PCO100CEF0, quite la tarjeta PCO100CLK0 (si
existe).

instrucciones de la hoja de instrucciones que va
adjunta en el embalaje de la tarjeta.

6. OPTIONAL CARDS
6.1 Programming key, PCO100KEY
The programming key, one of the more interesting new features of the
pCO 1 , can be used to transfer (upload and download) the application
software.
• The keys for the pCO
memory and are supplied by CAREL with BOOT
and BIOS that manage 1 MB. In this way, the same
keys can be used with pCO
either 1 MB or 2 MB flash memory chips.
To fully exploit the 2MB to copy larger applications
or a series of languages for the same application,
use WinLoad32 version 3.xx and load BOOT version
3.xx, BIOS version 3.xx and then restart the
application (see 'Copy from WinLoad32 to key using
the pCO
KEY using a pCO
version 3.xx, Bios 3.xx and the application already
loaded.
• WARNING: keys or pCO
BOOT version 3.xx MUST also have BIOS version
3.xx and MUST ONLY communicate with
WinLoad32 version 3.xx.
• WARNING: if copying from the KEY to the pCO
with a KEY having BOOT version 3.xx and BIOS

then, once the copy operation has been completed,
the application MUST BE downloaded to the pCO
version 3.xx.

6.2 Memory expansion, PCO100CEF0
If the flash memory is not sufficient for the application software or data
logs, the pCO 1 allows the memory to be expanded with the addition of
an expansion card.
The option includes the clock board too and 32 KB memory E2PROM.
Remove the possible PCO100CLK0 board if you want to use the
PCO100CEF0.
For details on the technical specifications and the installation of the
expansion card, carefully follow the instructions
shown on the instruction sheet enclosed in the
packaging of the card.
