11.6 Grinding fi neness
The grinding fi neness level was optimally adjusted prior to delivery. Consequently,
we recommend that you only readjust grinding fi neness after dispensing
approximately 1,000 coffees (about 1 year).
You can only set the grinding fi neness while the mill is running. Thus, adjust
grinding fi neness directly after coffee dispensing starts.
If the coffee fl avour is not suffi ciently intense, we recommend that you set a fi ner
grinding level.
• Reach into the recess on the right side of the appliance (Fig. A, no. 13)
and pull off the cover to the right.
• Start a normal coffee dispensing process.
• While the grinder is running: Place the lever in one of the three
positions (Fig. E).
• Insert the four catches of the cover into the back of the appliance and
swing the cover to the left until it locks into place.
