5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1.
Refer to the information in this manual for space dimensions required for proper
installation of the device, including minimum allowable clearances compared
to adjacent structures.
2.
The appliance must be installed, used and stored in a room with a floor area of
more than 4 m2.
3.
The installation of pipelines should be kept to a minimum.
4.
The pipe shall be protected from physical damage and shall not be installed in
an unventilated space if the space is less than 4 m
5.
National gas regulations must be observed.
6.
Mechanical connections must be accessible for maintenance purposes.
7.
Follow the instructions in this manual for handling, installing, cleaning,
maintaining and disposing of the refrigerant.

Make sure that the ventilation openings are free of obstruction.
9.

10. WARNING: The appliance must be stored in a well-ventilated area where the size
of the room corresponds to the area specified for operation.

WARNING: The appliance shall be stored in a room without continuous operation
of open flames (e.g., an operating gas appliance) and sources of ignition (e.g., an
operating electric heater).

The device must be stored to prevent mechanical damage.

It is appropriate that any person working in a refrigerant circuit should hold a
valid and current certificate from an industry-accredited assessment authority
recognising their competence to handle refrigerants, in accordance with the
recognised assessment specification for the industry sector concerned. Service
operations should only be performed in accordance with the equipment
manufacturer's recommendations. Maintenance and repair operations requiring
the assistance of other qualified persons shall be carried out under the supervision
of personnel competent in the use of flammable refrigerants.
14. All procedures affecting safety should only be carried out by competent
personnel.
15.
WARNING:
a.
Do not use any other means to accelerate the defrosting process or to clean
other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
b.
The appliance must be stored in a room with no continuously operating sources
of ignition (e.g., open flames, gas appliances or electric heaters in operation).
c.
Do not pierce or burn.
d.
Note that refrigerants may be odourless.
