Step 5. Connect the drain hose
5.1 Adjusting the drain hose (if applicable)
In some models, both sides of the indoor unit are provided with drainage posts, you
can choose one of them to connect the drain hose. Plug the unused drain port with
the rubber plug attached to one of the ports. Fig. 11
5.2 Connect the drain hose to the drain port, make sure the gasket is tight and the
sealing effect is good.
5.3 Wrap the gasket tightly with Teflon tape to ensure that there are no leaks.
NOTE:
Make sure there are no kinks or dents, and pipes should be laid obliquely downwards
to avoid blockages to ensure proper drainage. Fig. 12

Step 6. Connect the cable. Fig. 13
6.1 Choose the appropriate cable size determined by the maximum operating
current given on the rating plate. (Check the size of the cables, see INSTALLATION
PRECAUTIONS section).
6.2 Open the front panel of the indoor unit.
6.3 Using a screwdriver, open the cover of the electrical control box, to reveal the
terminal block.
6.4 Unscrew the cable clamp.
6.5 Insert one end of the cable into the control box position from the back of the right
end of the indoor unit.
6.6 Connect the wires to the appropriate terminal according to the wiring diagram on
the cover of the electrical control box. Make sure they are properly connected.
6.7 Screw on the cable clamp to secure the cables.
