1.4 All connections can easily be made to the outdoor unit.
1.5 The indoor unit is out of the reach of children.
1.6 The mounting wall is strong enough to support four times the total weight and
vibration of the unit.
1.7 The filter is easily accessible for cleaning.
1.8 Leave sufficient clearance to allow access for routine maintenance.
1.9 Install at least 3 m (10 ft.) away from the TV or radio antenna. Air conditioning
operation may interfere with radio or television reception in areas where reception is
weak. An amplifier may be required for the affected device.
1.10 Do not install in a laundry room or by a swimming pool due to the corrosive
environment.
1.11 In the case of the ETL certification area, it is noted that the lowest moving part at
the time of installation must be at least 2.4 metres (8 feet) above the ground.
Minimum indoor distances
Follow the minimum distances shown in Figure 4.
Step 2. Install the mounting plate. Fig. 5
2.1 Take the mounting plate from the back of the indoor unit.
2.2 Make sure to comply with the minimum installation dimension requirements as
stated in step 1, depending on the size of the mounting plate, determine the position
and place the mounting plate close to the wall.
2.3 Adjust the mounting plate horizontally with a spirit level, and then mark the screw
hole positions on the wall.
2.4 Remove the mounting plate and drill the holes at the marked positions with a drill.
2.5 Insert the rubber expansion plugs into the holes, then fit the mounting plate and
secure it with screws.
NOTE:

Make sure that the mounting plate is sufficiently firm and flat against the wall
after installation.

Step 3. Drill the hole in the wall. Fig. 6
A hole must be drilled in the wall for the coolant pipe, drain pipe and connecting
cables.
3.1 Determine the location of the base of the hole in the wall at the position of the
mounting plate.
3.2 The hole shall have a minimum diameter of 70 mm and a small oblique angle to
facilitate drainage.
