6 Detection mode (calculus detection)

Function key
The detection function can be activated and deacti-
vated with this key.
The detection function must be deactivated
whenever the SIROPERIO 4 PS or SIROPERIO PE 8
tip is not in use.

Learning program for probing pressure
In order to adjust the probing pressure in the patient's
mouth during the detection process, a learning software
can be activated during the treatment.
By pressing the function key
the learning software will be activated. The accompany-
ing display will be visible.
The user can now directly probe on enamel in the
patient's mouth and will get the following notes regarding
his probing pressure:
no display

pressure too low
green display
=
right pressure (30 - 70 g)
blue display
=
pressure too high
If the user feels secure regarding his probing pressure,
he can easily deactivate the learning program by press-
ing the function key

or by pressing the foot switch.
The user can directly proceed with therapy in the
patient's mouth.

Function key
You can purge the lines for 60 seconds without having
to step on the foot switch the whole time by pressing

.
This function can be terminated by pressing
again or by pressing the foot switch. Continuous flushing
is then performed in the water line last selected with the
rinsing solution located in that water line.
This function may be activated only with the tip
screwed on.
