3.7 Connect the sensor to the controller
Connect the bare wires of the sensor cable to the ultrapure amperometry module in the controller.
Refer to the illustrated steps that follow.
Notes:
• Make sure that the routing of the sensor cable prevents exposure to high electromagnetic fields
(e.g., transmitters, motors and switching equipment). Exposure to these fields can cause
inaccurate results.
• To keep the enclosure rating, make sure that all unused electrical access holes are sealed with an
access hole cover.
• To maintain the enclosure rating of the instrument, unused cable glands must be plugged.
• Make sure to connect all sensor ground/shield wires to the controller enclosure grounding screws.
Note: If the sensor cable is too short to connect to the controller, use a connecting cable and junction box to extend
the distance.
