Use the speed control (82) to adapt
the saw blade speed to the material
to be cut.

– Position 1–2
For copper, nickel, brass, zinc
and aluminium extrusions.
– Position 3–4
For plastic extrusions.
– Position 5–6
For solid wood and wood core
plywood.

Mitre cuts

Note:
A mitre cut cuts the workpiece at an an-
gle to the rear guide edge.
Maximum cut dimensions: see section
'Cut dimensions for various cuts'.
For cutting at the maximum mitre angle
it may be necessary to push the mova-
ble fence halves apart slightly before
adjustment.

Starting position
– Sawhead fully raised.
– Cutting depth limiter deactivated.
– Rotating table in 0° position, lock
screw of the rotating table tightened.
– Track arm holder in vertical (90°) po-
sition, bevel tilt locking lever tight-
ened.
– Lock screw of the track arm loos-
ened.
– Track arm not extended.
Adjusting the saw
1. Unscrew the lock screw (83) of the
rotary table and push down the
notch lever (84).

2. Set to desired angle.

Note:
When the notch lever is pushed up the
rotary table can engage with positive
stops at 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 31.6°, 45° and
60° positions. If the notch lever has
been pushed down completely the en-
gagement function is deactivated.
3. Tighten the rotary table's lock screw
(84).

Caution
To prevent the mitre angle from chang-
ing during cutting, tighten the rotating
table's locking screw (even when en-
gaged at the positive stops!).
Cutting the workpiece
4. Use the speed control to adapt the
saw blade speed to the material to
be cut.
5. Press the workpiece against the
fence and clamp with work clamp.
6. For wider workpieces the sawhead
should be pulled forward (towards
the operator).
7. Activate the safety lock (85) and
press and hold down the ON/OFF
trigger switch (86).

dle; if necessary, push to the rear
