Safety lock (60)
The safety lock blocks the retractable
blade guard: the saw blade remains
covered and the crosscut saw cannot
be lowered as long as the safety lock is
not disengaged.
Hole for padlock
The hole (61) provided in the ON/OFF
switch can be used for blocking the
switch with a padlock.
Fence (62)
The fence keeps the workpiece from
moving while it is cut. The fence must
always be installed during sawing.

The fence is fitted with adjustable
fence halves (64) which can be locked
in place by means of lock screws (63).

For bevel cuts the fence halves must
be moved apart and locked in place.

The motor has an overload protection
mechanism which switches the motor
off when it is overheated.

The motor must be cooled and the re-
set button (65) pressed before the mo-
tor can be switched back on.
4. Installation and Trans-
port
4.1

Installation

For safe working the machine must be
securely fastened to a sturdy support.
– This support may be a firmly at-
tached plywood sheet or a work-
bench.
– The ideal height of the base is
800mm.
– The saw must remain stable, even
when large workpieces are being
cut.
– Long workpieces must additionally
be supported using suitable acces-
sories.
1. Lift the tool out of the box with the help
of another person.

Note:
For mobile use the machine can be
screwed to a plywood sheet or wood core
plywood sheet (500x500mm, minimum
thickness of 19mm). When the machine
is being used the sheet must be attached

to a workbench with G-clamps.

2. Firmly bolt machine to the support.
3. Press down slightly on the sawhead
and hold.
4. Unlock the transport lock (66).

5. Let the sawhead swing up slowly.
6. Keep the packaging materials for
later use or discard in an environ-
metally-oriented manner.
4.2 Installing the table exten-
sion
1. Remove the right table side exten-
sion (68) (small surface) from the
transport packaging.
2. Pull the O-ring out of the groove of
the guide rail and store.
3. Press and hold down the locking
button (67).
4. Slide the guide rails completely into
the fixtures.
