3.2 Conditions of use

The product was developed for everyday use and must not be used for unusual activities such as
extreme sports (free climbing, paragliding, etc.). Furthermore, the product must not be used for
the operation of motor vehicles, heavy equipment (e.g. construction machines), industrial
machines, firearms or motor-driven equipment.
The product is intended exclusively for use on one user. Use of the product by another person is
not approved by the manufacturer.
The product is to be used solely for upper limb prosthetic fittings.
• For users with unilateral or bilateral amputation.
• For users with hand and forearm amputation.
3.3 Contraindications
• For users with upper arm amputation.
• For users with partial hand amputation.
• For users with shoulder amputation.
• For users who are not able to generate an adequately separable pattern.
3.4 Qualification
Fitting a patient with the product may only be carried out by O&P professionals or therapists who
have been authorised by Ottobock after completion of a corresponding training course. The O&P
professional also has to have the technical qualifications required for the alignment of a prosthes­
