6.1 Adjusting the level of compensation
CAUTION
Incorrect donning and doffing of the prosthesis
Risk of injury due to sudden flexion of the prosthesis.
► Switch off the prosthesis before donning or doffing.
► The prosthesis must always be flexed for donning and doffing.
CAUTION
Sudden flexion of the product due to high level of compensation
Risk of injury due to sudden flexion of the prosthesis.

6.2 Adjusting the upper arm rotation joint
Complete the following steps to rotate and adjust the upper arm rotation joint:
16
1) Flex the arm.
2) Use the dial to adjust the compensation.
INFORMATION: The adjustment range is limited
by stops.
INFORMATION: The adjustment mechanism is
protected by a slip clutch.
Range 1 = low compensation level
Permits the arm to swing freely while walking.
Range 2 = moderate compensation level
Balance is positively supported when flexing the arm.
Compensation is reduced again during extension.
Range 3 = constant compensation level
If set correctly, the weight of the forearm is balanced by
the compensation level.
Range 4 = low compensation level
Low compensation until flexion stop.
