GENERAL INTRODUCTION

This manual is an integral part of the product.
Carefully study the warnings and instructions con-
tained in this manual. It contains important instruc-
tions regarding SAFE USE and MAINTENANCE.
THIS MANUAL SHOULD BE
CONSERVED FOR FURTHER
CONSULTATION.

INTENDED USE

The model ERGOLOCK.CB, ERGOLOCK.AD ma-
chine in its different versions are tyre changing ma-
chines for motor vehicle wheels intended to be used
exclusively for the mounting, demounting, and infla-
tion of wheels with dimensions of max. diameter of
50" and max. width of 15".
The model ERGOLOCK.ST machine in its different
versions are tyre changing machines for motor vehi-
cle wheels intended to be used exclusively for the
mounting, demounting, and inflation of wheels with
dimensions of max. diameter of 47" and max. width
of 15".
2.1

Training of personnel

The machine may be operated only by suitably
trained and authorized personnel.
Given the complexity of the operations necessary to
manage the machine and carry out the operations safely
and efficiently, the personnel must be trained in such
a way that they learn all the information necessary to
operate the machine as intended by the manufacturer.
A careful reading of this instruction manual for use
and maintenance and a short period of training with
skilled personnel can be an enough preventive prepa-
ration.
This accessory must only be used for the purpose for
which it is specifically designed.
Any other use is considered improper and therefore
unacceptable.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for
any damage caused by improper, erroneous, or un-
acceptable use.

This device prevents the arm from hitting the opera-
tor.
A device prevents the bead-breaker from coming out
when the motor turns clockwise.
On the machine are present some permanent pro-
tections that are supposed to avoid potential risks
of gettino crushed, cut or pressed.
Such protections have been conceived as a result of
an evaluation of the risks and after having consid-
ered all the situations in which the machine is work-
ing.
Rubber guards have been applied to the operative
points that are considered as critical.
