3.4.1 Basic Settings

BeforeusingtheStandingFrameanddependingonthemodel,thefollowingtaskshavetobe
performedbythespecialistdealer/therapist:
• Standing Frame with manual strap rewinder / swivelling support pads: Atthereartable
edge,insertthelongswitchlever(Fig.4,item1)inthebushprovidedandfixitwiththeen-
closedfixingscrew(Fig.5).Theblackballoftheswitchlevermustbeatthetop.
• Standing Frame with electric strap rewinder (mains operations): PlaceyourStanding
Frameneartoawallsocketandconnectthemainsplug(Fig.6,item1)tothewallsocket.
Oncethestraprewinderhasbeenconnectedtothemainssupplytheindicatorlamplights
upandthedeviceisreadyforuse.
NOTICE
Risk of damage due to electric potential. Beforeconnectingthedevicewithanelectricstraprewinder,
ensurethatthevoltageofyourmainssupplycorrespondswiththeindicationsonthetypeplate.
NOTICE
Interference from electromagnetic fields. Theperformanceandfunctionalityoftheproductcanbe
affectedbyelectromagneticfields(mobilephonesorotherradiatingdevices).
• Ifnecessary,switchsuchdevicesoffwhileusingtheproduct.
• Standing Frame with electric strap rewinder (battery operation): Theintegratedbattery
hasalreadybeenpre-charged.However,itisrecommendedtochargethebatteryonceagain
beforeusingthedevice.Pleasenotethatthebatterieswilldeveloptheirfullcapacityonlyaf-
terseveralchargingprocesseshavebeencarriedout.
Theregulatedbatterychargerfortheelectricstraprewinderwithbatteryworksfullyautomati-
cally.Thesecondarylinehastobeconnectedtothestrap'schargingreceptacle(observing
correctpoleconnection).Plugthechargerintothemainselectricitysupply;onceconnected,
thechargingprocesswillstartandtheredLEDlightsup.
WhentheredLEDgoesout(withthemainselectricsupplystillconnected),thebatteryisfully
charged,andthereisonlythecurrentrunningthatisneededfortricklecharge.
