3) Connect all prosthesis components to each other.
INFORMATION: Check the dimensions of the definitive prosthesis
with a trial fitting and correct them if necessary.
5.4 Optional: shortening the tube
CAUTION
Incorrect processing of tube
Fall due to damage to the tube
► Do not clamp the tube into a vice.
► To shorten the tube, use only a tube cutter or a cutting device.
Required materials: 710D4 torque wrench, 719R3 tube cutter or
>
704Y14* cutting device, 718R1 tube deburrer, degreasing cleaning
agent (e.g. 634A58 isopropyl alcohol )
1) Shorten the tube according to the patient's measurements.
2) Deburr the inside and outside of the cut edge with the tube deburrer.
5.5 Modular elbow joint
The 13R1=* modular elbow joint has 7 locking adjustment steps. It covers a
flexion range from 0° to 141°. The first locking position is at 15°, and the oth
er positions are adjusted in 21° increments. The modular elbow joint is avail
able in left and right versions. This makes it possible to always position the
lock lever medially.
Tools required:
>
Torque wrench (adjustable to0.5 Nm)
1) Fit the connection components on the modular elbow joint.
2) INFORMATION: Position the lock lever medially.
Tighten the set screws (torque: 0.5 Nm).
6 Cleaning
