4. Replace the valve cover (5). Make sure the seal
is in the correct position (19). Tighten the three hexagon
screws (14).
Tightening torque: 1.0-1.2 Nm

8.2.7 Reestablishing connections

1. Make the pneumatic connections to the new subbase and
valve system (see "Connecting the valve system
pneumatics" on page 71).
2. Version with multipole plug: Make the electrical
connections on the multipole plug if the connector pins
assigned to the new position have not yet been connected.
Version with bus coupler: Consider the additional valve
position in the control.

Creating separate pressure zones

Proceed as follows to create several pressure zones
in the valve system.
Turn off the operating voltage and compressed air supply.
1. Remove the end plate and the necessary number
of subbases from the valve system. Proceed according
to the instructions in section "Disassembling the valve
system" on page 82.
2. Insert blanking plugs (24) into the required channels
as illustrated in Fig. 15.
