Removing the hook tip
1) Slide the cap nut cover over the hook tip and remove it.
2) Loosen the cap nut with the mounting wrench (see fig. 1).
3) Unscrew the cap nut (see fig. 2) and pull off the hook tip with the cap nut.
Mounting the hook tip
1) Place the hook tip on the connector of the gearbox (see fig. 4).
INFORMATION: Mount the hook tip so that the groove of the hook tip lies parallel over
the pin of the connector (see fig. 3).
2) Screw on the hook tip.
3) Tighten the hook tip with the mounting wrench (see fig. 5).
INFORMATION: The hook tip must be tightened using a torque of 17 Nm.
4) Pull the cap nut cover over the hook tip and position it over the cap nut.

10.2 Initialising the Axon-Bus gripping component

The Axon-Bus gripping component is delivered in an initialised state.
NOTICE
Pulling the Axon-Bus gripping component off during operation/controlling
Loss of maximum speed and loss of closing movement.
The product must be re-initialised after being attached to the socket.
1) Attach the Axon-Bus gripping component to the socket (Changing the Axon-Bus gripping
component).
2) Open the hook tips completely. The hook tip touches the stop.
3) Close the hook tips completely.
INFORMATION: There must be no objects between the hook tips.
→ The Axon-Bus gripping component is now initialised. The complete opening width and maxim­
um speed can be used once again.
