lighting and adjusting the oven burner
To correctly light the oven, keep to the following instructions:
· Open the oven door.
· Press and turn the thermostat knob counter-
clockwise until the position of maximum tem-
perature is reached. Keep the knob pressed
until the microswitch set on the rear side of
the knob sets off a series of sparks on the spark
plug used to start the burner.
· Keep the knob pressed for approx. 10 secs.
to allow the thermocouple heating set
on theburner. When the thermocouple is hot, the flame comes
automatically on. (Check through the slots set on the bottom).
· If after approx. 10 seconds the burner is not yet lit, cut off the op-
eration and wait for a minute at least, before trying a new ignition.
(Keep the door always open).
· When the burner is lit, wait for some seconds, then gently close the
door.
· Once the oven is lit, turn the thermostat knob on the position of the
required temperature.
· When the cooking is over, turn the thermostat knob clockwise up to
the zero position to turn off the burner.
· If the flame of the burner goes out accidentally, do not try to light it
again for at least one minute.

Introduce the spit rod into the meals taking care to set them between
the two forks and balance the meals to prevent excessive stress to the
spit motor.
Introduce the spit rod into the
hole of the motor shaft set at
the center of the back wall and
check that the rear end is
correctly engaged.
Lay everything on the support
grid using the collar set near
the handle.
Set the fat basin on the lower guide and remove the plastic handle
(this is used for easily removing the meals at the end of the cooking
process).
