4.7.1 Operating Environment

2. The device should be situated in a place protected against direct sunlight, to prevent overhe-
ating inside of the equipment.
3. Do not use this equipment in combination with any equipment other than those approved in
the user manual.
4. The device should be stored and used in a specified temperature, humility and atmospheric
pressure range, or damage maybe caused to the device and as a consequence, record inac-
curate results.
5. If the device gets wet by accident, the operator should NOT turn on the power until it has been
thoroughly air dried.
6. Do not use this equipment in an environment with toxic or inflammable gas.
7. Only monitor a single person at a time.
8. Do not expose the device to a magnetic resonance (MR) environment.
• The device may present a risk of projectile injury due to the presence of ferromagnetic ma-
terials that can be attracted by the MR magnet core.
• Thermal injury and burns may occur due to the metal components of the device that can
heat during MR scanning.
• The device may generate artifacts in the MR image.
