When seating beads, do not exceed the tyre maximum pressure provided by the
manufacturer.
Reinstall valve mechanism into the valve rod after the bead has been seated, and then
inflate the tyre to the pressure recommended by the manufacturer.
Activate air inflation jets only when sealing bead.
Bleed air pressure from system before disconnecting power supply line or other
pneumatic components. Air is stored in a reservoir to operate the inflation jets.
Only activate the air inflation jets if the rim securing device is locked in place and
the tyre is properly clamped.
Do not mount a tyre and a rim that do not have the same diameter (e.g., 16 and 1/2
inch tyre and a 16 inch rim).
If tyre is over-inflated, air may be released by pressing the brass manual air release
button located below the air pressure gauge.
Disconnect inflation hose from valve rod.
2.7 Removing the wheel from the tyre changer
Make sure that the tool head, the bead presser and the bead breakers are in the "out-
of-work" position.
Loosen the clamping device by turning the handles anticlockwise.
Press the retainers and manually move the centring cone away from the rim.
Turn the clamping device anticlockwise to release it from the turntable.
Remove the clamping device.
Remove the wheel from the tyre changer.
