1.
Make settings for the new device and click "interface" (see Fig. 110).

make settings for the application and click "Properties" (See Fig. 111.)
3.
Make your protocol and interface settings and click OK. If necessary, first click
"Advanced ..." to perform advanced communication settings. (See Fig. 112.)
4.
Close all previously opened setup dialogues (windows) by clicking on "OK".
When the final setup dialogue is closed, the new connection is registered in the
device connection list.

Searching for devices on the network
This feature supports the user in selecting the IP address or host name for the device.
In the dialogue for entering the IP address or host name there is a "Search" button on the
right of the entry field.

Click this button to automatically search the local network and list eligible equipment.

The devices listed are in the same subnet as the PC used to carry out the search.
By specifying the software version in the "SW_Base" field, the search is limited to specific
devices or versions.
To find devices in a different subnet, you need to know the address range containing the
device. This address range must be entered in the "IP Address." The first three bytes of
the IP address must be known; only the last byte can be entered as a range
(e.g..10.13.3.50-150).
