Operating instructions SATAminijet 1000 K/H RP/HVLP
■ Mount the trigger guard [10-6].
■ Insert air piston with air piston spring [10-5] and air micrometer [10-4]
and grease with SATA high performance grease (# 48173).
■ Press the air micrometer [10-4] into the gun body.
■ Screw locking screw [10-2] into gun body.
After installation, adjust the material flow according to chapter 8.2.
9.5. Replace self-adjusting seal (air side)
Replacement is necessary if air escapes under the trigger guard.
Dismantle self-adjusting seal
■ Loosen counter nut [1-3].
■ Screw adjusting screw [1-2] with counter nut out of the gun body.
■ Remove spring and paint needle [10-1].
■ Screw locking screw [10-2] out of gun body.
■ Pull the air micrometer [10-5] out of the gun body.
■ Remove air piston [10-3] with air piston spring [10-2].
■ Remove the trigger guard [10-6].
■ Screw packing screw and air piston rod [10-7] out of gun body and
remove.
■ Remove spring [10-8] and self-adjusting seal [10-9] from the gun
body.
Mount self-adjusting seal
■ Insert spring [10-8] and self-adjusting seal [10-9] in the gun body.
■ Insert packing screw and air piston rod [10-7] into gun body and screw
in position.
■ Mount the trigger guard [10-6].
■ Grease air piston [10-3] with air piston spring [10-2] and air microme-
ter [10-4] with SATA high performance grease (# 48173) and insert.
■ Press the air micrometer [10-5] into the gun body.
■ Screw in the locking screw [10-2].
■ Insert spring and paint needle [10-1].
■ Screw adjusting screw [1-2] with counter nut [1-3] into the gun body.
After installation, adjust the material flow according to chapter 8.2.
9.6. Replace spindle of round / flat fan control
Replacement is necessary if air escapes from the round / flat fan control or
if it is no longer possible to adjust the spray fan pattern.
Dismantle spindle
■ Unscrew the countersunk screw [11-3].
