Remove spindle
■ Unscrew counter-sunk screw [11-3].
■ Pull off control knob [11-2].
■ Use SATA universal wrench to unscrew spindles [11-1] and remove
from gun body.
Attaching the spindle
■ Use SATA universal wrench to screw spindle [11-1] into gun body.
■ Position control knob [11-2].
■ Coat counter-sunk screw [11-3] with Loctite 242 and screw in until
hand tight.

10. Care and Storage

Careful handling and regular care of the product are required to guaran-
tee the proper function of the paint spray gun.
■ Store the paint spray gun in a dry location.
■ Clean the paint spray gun thoroughly after each use and before every
paint change.
Notice!
Damage due to use of the wrong type of cleaning agent
The use of aggressive cleaning agents to clean the paint spray gun can
damage the paint spray gun.
→ Do not use aggressive cleaning media.
→ Use neutral cleaning agents with a pH value of 6 – 8.
→ Do not use acids, alkalis, bases, paint stripper, unsuitable regenerate
material or other aggressive cleaning media.
Notice!
Damage to property due to improper cleaning
Immersion in solvents or cleaning agents, or using an ultrasonic cleaner
can damage the paint spray gun.
→ Do not place the paint spray gun in solvents or cleaning agents.
→ Do not clean the paint spray gun with an ultrasonic cleaner.
→ Use only SATA recommended washing machines.
