PCB Switch Settings

PCB switch settings are described in this section, including settings for main PCB
switches and the discrete I/O (relay) switch.

Main PCB Switches

Four switches (indicated in Figure 2-51) are located on the main PCB. These
switches function as shown in Table 2-3.

Metrology Security Switch (legal for trade)
When in the ON position, this switch reduces
Administrator access to Maintenance level which
prohibits access to the Scale block in the menu
tree and other metrologically significant areas.
This is true even if no scale approval option is
selected in setup.
Flash Software
Set in the ON position during software download
Set in the OFF position during normal operation
Factory test
Set in the OFF position at all times for normal
weighing.

Functions
When both SW1-1 and
SW1-2 are set to ON and
power is cycled, a Master
Reset is performed.
Metrologically significant
data are not reset unless
SW2-1 is also set to ON.
When a Master Reset is
performed, set SW2-1 to
ON to reset metrologically
significant data, such as
scale calibration, GEO
code, etc.
