More about the hardware

9.5.1.

Transmitter aerial / storage compartment

The stainless steel telescopic aerial of the C
is 1.40 m long. It must be screwed into the transmitter
socket before the unit is switched on.
To remove the aerial from its compartment press the
release button at the bottom of the transmitter.
To store the aerial, slide it into the hole in the left-hand
side of the case. Press the release knob when fitting
the aerial; when fully inserted the aerial snaps into
place, and cannot fall out again.

The multi-function socket of the C
