The current percentage figure flashes.
Important: set no more than 100% or –100%.
You can set the value within the range -200% to
+200% in 2% increments using the 3-D digi-adjustor.
For the EASY model type the spoiler input into the ai-
lerons must be no more than –100% or 100%.
A brief press
on the 3-D digi-adjustor concludes the
process. The value is stored.

Changing wing camber using the ailerons

(flap, speed / thermal setting)
MIXER
Menu: (
Within certain limits the wing airfoil (and with it the
model's flying characteristics) can be altered using the
ailerons. If both ailerons are raised slightly, the model
can be flown faster (speed setting). Lowering both ai-
lerons generates more lift, and the model can be flown
more slowly (thermal setting).
Note: small flap travels (camber-changing flaps)
Generally the manufacturer of the model will advise in
the building instructions how large the up- and down-
travels should be. A good starting point is 5% to 10%.
The optimum settings have to be established through
flight-testing.
The transmitter control for this function is the left-hand
FLAP slider (AUX1). The extent to which the FLAP
slider is to affect the ailerons is set in the "F->A" mixer
(flap to aileron).
Moving to the F ->Q menu:

The current percentage figure flashes. You can now
use the 3-D digi-adjustor to set a value within the range
-100% to 100% in 1% increments.
Move the FLAP control (left-hand slider) to both end-
points in turn, and use the 3-D digi-adjustor to set the
desired control surface travels. Any changes you make
are immediately visible on the model itself.

Electronic Y-lead
Menu: (
The electronic Y-lead generates the same function for
servo 7 as is already generated for one of the servos 1
to 6. This is the ideal solution for many cases such as:
a.
You wish to use two servos to actuate a large
rudder, to ensure that you have enough power.
b.
The tailplane features two separate elevators,
each of which is to be actuated by its own servo.
c.
You want to actuate the steerable nosewheel us-
ing a separate servo, but control it with the RUD-
DER stick.
Compared to a "normal" Y-lead, the electronic alter-
native offers the advantage that you can adjust the
centre, travel and direction of rotation for both "parallel-
wired" servos, independently of each other.
Moving to the Y-KABL menu:
to MENU,
to MIXER,
to Y-KABL,
no Y-lead
The current Y-lead setting flashes In the bottom line.
0:7 means: the Y-lead is not activated.
You can now use the 3-D digi-adjustor to select one of
the servos 1 to 6 as the signal source.
In our example (pictures above) the signal for servo 2
(elevator) is passed to servo 7. The elevator can now
be actuated using two separate servos.
A brief press
process. The value is stored.
