Hemolysis: Presence of packed red blood
cells in concentrations up to 30 µL/mL has
no effect on results, within the precision of
the assay.
Lipemia: Presence of triglycerides in
concentrations up to 3000 mg/dL has no
effect on results, within the precision of the
assay.
Method Comparison: The assay was
compared to Coat-A-Count
patient samples. (Concentration range:
approximately 3.3 to 41 µg/dL. See
graph.) By linear regression:
(IML) = 0.95 (CAC) + 0.32 µg/dL
r = 0.988
Means:
14.6 µg/dL (IMMULITE)
15.0 µg/dL (CAC)
