4.5 Calibration of zero position of handles

Put all the handles in the
centre position (neutral) and
switch off the power if this was
switched on.
Hold switch (1) on the control
unit pressed in.
Switch on the power again.
After the power has been
switched on again for 3 sec-
onds and with switch (1) still
pressed in the buzzer will
bleep 8 times.
The zero position of the han-
dles has now been calibrated.
The maximum allowed deviation per handle is +/- 3 degrees.
If there is a greater deviation than this the handle must be
(mechanically) reset.

4.6 Calibration of zero position of rudder

A deviation of less than 10 degrees in the zero position of the
rudder can be reset while sailing as follows:
Activate operating handle 1 (the handle which is connected
to J6).
Position the handle so that the ship steers straight ahead.

First press and hold in the 'STAND-BY' button.
Then press and hold in the 'SET' button at the same time.
After about 8 seconds the buzzer in the electronic control unit
will sound and both buttons can be released.

The new zero position for the rudder has now been entered.
The boat will now begin to turn because the rudder position
is now aligned to that of the handle.
If the deviation in the rudder zero position is more than 10
degrees the rudder feedback unit must be set first, see 4.1.
