5a Install escutcheon assembly.
FOR INSIDE INDICATOR TRIM, SKIP TO STEP 7.

For Outside Indicator Trim ONLY – Install outside
indicator trim.
A. Trim the cam spindle if necessary (cylinder and privacy
functions only).
Break the spindle at the appropriate mark according to door
thickness. (If necessary, remove clip.)

B. IMPORTANT! Check indicator handing with indicator
positioned against top rim of reinforcement plate.

6a Unlock the door.
6b Install the indicator/escutcheon assembly.
Exterior
6c Install the cylinder with cylinder spring as shown.
6d Rotate cylinder clockwise.
