Ha sido implementado el retorno auto-
mático de los intermitentes con la si-
guiente lógica.
Si el vehículo está detenido y, por lo tan-
to, con velocidad igual a cero, los indica-
dores siguen parpadeando indefinida-
mente.
Si el vehículo está en movimiento, los in-
dicadores
retornan
automáticamente
cuando se logra una de las dos siguien-
tes condiciones:
•
Después de un período de tiem-
po t = 40 s
•
Después de haber recorrido 500
m (0,31 millas)
Si durante este intervalo la velocidad se
anula, el conteo del tiempo y de la dis-
tancia se pone a cero y se reinician cuan-
do se detecta que el vehículo está
nuevamente en movimiento.
El paso de los indicadores de un lado al
otro sin un impulso de puesta a cero in-
termedio, pone a cero y reinicia el conteo
tanto del tiempo como de la distancia.

The turn indicators have a self-cancelling
function that implements the following
logic.
With the vehicle at a standstill (speed =
zero), the turn indicators continue flash-
ing indefinitely.
With the vehicle in motion, the turn sig-
nals self-cancel when one the two follow-
ing conditions is met:
•
After a time (t) = 40 sec.
•
After riding 500 m (0.31 mi).
If the vehicle speed reaches zero during
this period, the time and distance counts
are reset and start again from zero when
the vehicle starts moving once again.
Switching on the opposite side turn indi-
cators without pressing the switch in the
intermediate reset position causes both
the time and distance counters to reset
and recommence from zero.
