7.0 Troubleshooting

If a problem with the tire changer should arise, proceed
in the following order to solve the problem:
1. Rethink the last steps taken.
Did you work according to the manual?
Did the unit work as described and expected?
2. Check the unit according to the list in this chapter.
3. Call your local sales agent for technical assistance.

The activation of the rotation pedal does not cause
any movement.
1. No electric power.
• Check that the electric plug is correctly inserted in
the mains socket and that the electric power supply
is on.
• Check that he switch is at ON.
2. Inverter, control device or motor short circuited.
• Check that the electrical requirements of the
machine are compatible with the power supply.
• Call the authorized service center for assistance.
The rotation control pedal does not return to
neutral position.
1. Switch spring is broken.
• Bring the pedal to central position.
• Disconnect the machine from the electrical power
supply and the compressed air feed.
• Call the authorized service center for assistance.
Bead breaker cylinder lacks power during bead
breaking.
1. Low air pressure.
• Check air pressure of feed.
2. Cylinder seals worn.
3. Faulty valve
• Check oil level and make sure lubricator is working
properly as described in Maintenance chapter
• Call the authorized service center for assistance.
Machine damages alloy rims.
1. Plastic tool guard worn.
• Replace the plastic tool guard.
2. Tool is at wrong distance from rim.
• Call the authorized assistance service.
