Handling the machine
Carriage instructions
The machine is normally crated in a corrugated box of
appropriate strength. The box is mounted on a pallet.
Handling of the completely crated machine or simply
placed on a pallet (b-Fig.ii-1), must be made with an
appropriate lifting device (fork lift) (a - Fig.ii-1).
The machine can be alternatively mounted on the
pallet. In such a case the machine must be anchored
to the transportation vehicle with a belt of appropriate
strength rolled around the column (b - Fig.ii-1).
Use highly resistant fabric belts.

Unpacking instructions

Uncrate the machine paying particular attention when
cutting the plastic straps or during any other operation
which may be hazardous.
After removing the carton check for any visible damage
to the machine and its components.
In case of doubt call qualifi ed personnel for assistance.
The packing materials (plastic bags, polystyrene, nails,
screws, wood etc.) must be properly disposed of. Place
the above mentioned materials into a trash container
and dispose per local regulations.
ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES WHEN UNCRATING
THE MACHINE TO PREVENT SCRATCHES OR
ABRASIONS DUE TO CONTACT WITH PACKING
MATERIALS.
Handling the machine
To remove the machine from the pallet, after unpacking
it and any time the machine needs to be moved without
the pallet, even within the same work area, proceed as
follows:
• If they are not present, screw the lifting eyebolts
(1 and 2, Fig.ii-3) securely to the wheel holder
fl ange after fi rst removing the plastic cover; then,
if necessary, rotate the wheel holder table, until the
eyebolts are in the transversal position, as shown
in fi gure ii-3.
• Screw the eyebolt (3, Fig.ii-3) securely in the seat-
ing, in the area shown here and indicated by the
relative plate (Fig.ii-2).
• Close the bead pusher arm "a" and secure it in
"gathered" position to the column. Set the tool
holder arm "b" out of working position.
