ii.1 Installation Device
The device, designed to remove large tyre changers
from pallets and place them on the ground, is available
on request and must be used exclusively by authorised
installers and with the relevant machine models.
Scope of application:
The list of machine models that the equipment can be
used with can be found in instruction TEAK0330G24A
supplied with the device. An updated list of of models
can also be found with the dealer.
The device can be used with machines with a total
weight of up to 500 kg.
ATTENTION:
DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM LIFTING
CAPACITY INDICATED.
Procedure:
• Adjust the 4 jacks so that the end stop pin (F) is about
4 cm from the upper edge of the slot.
• Position the packaged machine in the installation area.
• Remove the perimeter protection wrapping from the
pallet.
• Remove the equipment and macro-parts not secured to
the machine.
• Remove the bolts anchoring the machine to the pallet.
Front side (Figure ii-4):
• Secure the eyebolts (1) to the tyre changer with the
screws supplied (2).
• Pass the lifting slings in the eyebolts (3). Insert the jack
with the horizontal bar (4) in the eyelets of the slings.
• Insert the second jack (5) in the opposite side, then block
it with the pin (6).
Rear side (Figure ii-5):
• Insert the jack with the horizontal bar (7) in the bracket
(8) of the machine.
• Insert the second jack in the opposite side of the bar
and block it with the pin.
Lifting (Figure ii-6):
• Before lifting use the jacks to render the bars parallel
with the machine support plane, whilst tensioning the
slings at the same time.
• Perform a revolution of the lifting lever, adjusting the
four jacks in alternate sequence, in order to maintain
the original levelling.
• Once the tyre changer is lifted one centimetre above
the pallet stop lifting and remove the pallet from under
the machine. Then lower the machine by adjusting the
four points alternately in order to keep the machine
level with the ground.
• Remove and store the lifting device.
