Ensure that you have adequately and accurately established a safe clearfall distance prior to
using this system. If you are unsure, consult a competent person or contact FallTech.

Extreme heat, sparks and open flame will damage this system. This system is also not
appropriate for explosive environments or locations where it may come in contact with caustic
chemicals. If you are unsure about the system's suitability for your environment, consult a
competent person or contact FallTech.

Do not over-tension this system. The maximum pre-tension on the line should not exceed 450
lbs. See section 3.1, paragraph 5 for pre-tensioning instructions.

If you are unclear with regard to any of the instructions or warnings, consult with a competent
person or contact FallTech before using this system.
Section 6 – Inspection Record
A copy of these instructions should be available to the user(s) as a reference and as a resource for the
conduct of user inspections. Ensure that all users that will be responsible for installation or properly
trained to do so. Ensure that all users that will be tying off to the system are properly trained in the
inspection and use of the system.
Use this document to record inspections and to notate the conditions of the system at the time of each
inspection. Be sure to record the model number of the specific system as well as serial # of the tensioner.
