Section 1 – Introduction
Checkline temporary HLL's have been designed to offer users a flexible, continuous anchorage
between two fixed structural anchor points. This type of anchorage allows for comprehensive protection
from falls over a broad work area and helps to ensure the worker's safety, while increasing productivity.
This system is rated to accommodate up to four users on a maximum span of 100 feet. Technical
specifications and limitations are discussed in Section 3, which addresses installation and use of the
system. Installation and employment of this system must be supervised by a competent person.
The Checkline Temporary HLL Kits consist of the following components:
One (1) 12-strand synthetic rope lifeline (maximum working length = 100') with integral end swivel.
Two (2) #7372R anchor slings.
Two (2) #8447 carabiners.
Four (4) #7401 alloy steel O-rings.
One (1) #77700T lifeline tensioner.
One (1) #5007L storage bag.
Be sure to read the entire instruction manual prior to installation and use. Ensure all instructions are
followed and that all warnings are observed, and that each user is thoroughly trained in the use of this
system. Failure to follow these instructions and to observe the warnings may result in serious injury or
death. Should you have any questions with regard to the installation, employment or limitations of this
system, be sure to contact FallTech for further guidance.
