RECOMMENDATIONS
It is very important that this instruction booklet is kept
safely with the appliance for future consultation.
In the event of sale or transfer to another user, make sure
that the booklet always accompanies the appliance so
that the new owner has information to hand regarding
operation and relative recommendations.
These recommendations are given for safety reasons.
They should be carefully read prior to installation and
prior to using the appliance.
• After having removed the packaging, immediately check
that the appliance is intact. Should your new appliance be
damaged, do not use it but contact your dealer without
delay. The packaging materials must not be left within
reach of children, since they are potential sources of
danger.
• Any adaptation of the electrical and water systems in order
to install the appliance should only be carried out by
qualified electricians and plumbers.
• This appliance should only be used by adults trained to use
it.
• Make sure that the appliance does not rest on the mains
supply cable or on filling and drainage hoses; if necessary
adjust the height of the appliance by means of the feet,
ensuring that the appliance is standing level.
• The appliance has been designed to wash crockery,
glasses, cups, cutlery, trays. Any other use - such as
washing objects contaminated with petrol, paint, steel or
iron scrap, corrosive acid or alkaline chemical products,
solvents, or objects that are larger than the working
passage of the appliance - is to be considered improper
and therefore hazardous.
• The appliance is rated IPX2 and must not therefore be
washed with high pressure jets of water.
• The appliance has been made to the rules of good
workmanship in force in Italy and abroad, in compliance
with EEC Directives and current laws.
• After use, disconnect the appliance from the mains
electricity supply using the wall-mounted mains on/off
switch.
• Do not leave the appliance exposed to the elements or in
environments with temperatures below 0°C.
• Never attempt to repair the appliance. Any repairs carried
out by inexpert persons could cause damage or worsen the
malfunctioning.
• This appliance should be serviced by authorised
specialists.
If the appliance is unserviceable, it should be made

inoperable: disconnect/cut off the electrical and water
connections.
The sound pressure of the empty appliance measured at 1
•
m from the same and at 1.6 m height, is 70 dB(A), and 75
dB(A) for the appliances with drying function.
Do not alter the protective devices and only remove them
•
if the appliance is at a standstill and the electrical power
supply has been cut off.
• An out-of-order product should be made unusable;
disconnect the electrical and water connections.
• If you want to dispose of this product, do not put it with
the domestic waste. There is a system of separately
collected fractions in conformity with the law that requires
special treatment, recovery and recycling.
• Private citizens of EU member countries, Switzerland and
Norway may deliver the appliance at the end of its useful
life to designated centres for separately collected
fractions of electronic and electro-technical waste.
Otherwise when purchasing a new, similar appliance, you
can ask the dealer to take away the old appliance.
• For countries not mentioned above, please contact the
local authorities for correct method of disposal.
• Proper separate collection of old appliances for
subsequent recycling contributes to preventing possible
negative effects on the environment and on health and
encourages recycling of the materials with which the
appliance is made.
• Illegal disposal of the product by the user could entail
application of the administrative fines provided for under
the applicable laws.
