9 IMPORTANT TIPS IN THE EVENT OF MALFUNCTIONING
TROUBLE
1 The lights of the switches on the control
panel do not come on

POSSIBLE CAUSES AND REMEDIES
A) Check that the wall switch is put to on and that its
fuses have not blown.
B) Check that the bulbs are not burnt.
A) Check that there is water coming from themains and
that the on/off cock (gate valve) is open.
B) Check that the water inlet header filter is not
clogged.
C) Check that the pressure switches are not out of
calibration or unserviceable.
D) Check correct operation of the filling solenoid valve.
E) Check that the overflows are present and correctly
inserted into their seat.
A) Check that the pressure switches are not out of
calibration or unserviceable.
B) Check correct operation of the filling solenoid valve.
C) Check that the air cage is vertical and that the
connecting pipe is not disconnected
A) Make sure that the detergent is the correct type and
being used in the correct amount (recommended by
the detergent manufacturer).
B) Check the wash pipe nozzles for clogging by
impurities.
C) Check that the tank water temperature is 60°C.
D) Check correct pump operation (direction of rotation).
E) Check the pump filter for clogging by impurities.
F) Check that the overload cut-out has not tripped; if so,
reset it.
A) Check that the thermostats are not out of calibration,
broken or incorrectly set.
B) Check that the fuses and the coils of the contactors
related to the tank heating elements are intact.
C) Check correct operation of the tank heating
elements and that they are not covered by scale.
D) Check that the thermometers are not broken or out
of calibration.
A) Check the nozzles for clogging by scale.
B) Check correct operation of the solenoid valve.
C) Check the water inlet header filter for clogging.
D) Check that the boiler is not clogged by scale.
A) Check that the water inlet temperature is at the
recommended value.
B) Check that the thermostat is not out of calibration,
broken or incorrectly set.
