personnel.
If you need to replace parts that are
not working any mor e, only use
original spare parts by SIME.
At the end of every heating season,
conduct a general cleaning of the
boiler. Make sure you remove all the
ash from the entire surface of the
boiler (5.7. 1 ). If the boiler is not used in
summer, keep t he door s closed
anyway. Check t he s t at e of t he
gaske ts and r eplace t hem, if
necessary. Also check the state of the
chimney flue.
CLEANING THE FAN (FIG. 12)
CAUTION: First of all, power off the

boiler.
Open the fan and remove any deposits
from the blades.
Generally compressed air or a slight
mechanical action allows to clean
them well.
If there are stubborn deposits to due
dripping condensation or t ar, we
recommend operating very carefully
to avoid bending or deforming the
blades.
This would cause the fan to generate
noise when it is in operation and would
affect its performance.
To disassemble the fan, proceed as
follows:
- Take out t he f our scr ew s t hat
secure the fan of PIROEMME 4-5,
remove the fan and replace the

- For PIROEMME 6-7 instead take
out the four clamping screws and
remove the protective frame (1).
Take out the screws that secure the
fan to the gas flue chamber (2),
remove the fan and replace the
gaske t

CLEANING THE FLUE GAS CHAMBER

Remove the rear door and thoroughly
clean the flue gas ducts using a long
soft brush.
Clean the internal parts of the flue gas
chamber and remove/use a device to
vacuum up the residues.
