TROUBLESHOOTING

Cause: The boiler tends to turn off and
an arch of unburnt wood forms in the
storage area. It takes time to restart
it and the flame does not develop
easily. This may be due to the fact that
the refractory burner is obstructed or
there is not enough primary air.
Solution: Clear t he hole of t he
refractory burner or increase the
amount of primary air.
Cause: The flame moves very quickly,
generates noise and produces a large
amount of white and black ash. The
boiler's consumption levels are very
high.
This may be due the fact that there is
too much primary air.
Solution: Reduce t he amount of
primary air.
Cause: The flame is short, moves
slow l y, t he output is low and t he
refractory burner on the lower part
has turned black.
This may be due the fact that there is
not enough primary air.
Solution: Increase the amount of
primary air.

Cause: The boiler produces a large
amount of liquid t ar in t he wood
storage area. This may be caused by
ver y damp fuel, if t he boiler
t emper atur e is t oo low, if t he
equipment is not used for an extended
period of time with the wood storage
area full of fuel.
Solution: Use wood wit h a lower
moisture content, increase the boiler
thermostat to a temperature of 75-
80°C and use an amount of wood in
line with your actual needs.
Cause: The fan never stops and the
boiler does not reach the desired
temperature.
This may be due to the fact that the
boiler is obstructed, the fuel has not
been loaded in accordance with the
ins tr uctions, t he pumps ar e no t
connected to the panel, the size of the
boiler is not suitable in relation to the
system's demand.
Solution: Clean the whole boiler, load it
with wood in order to fill the wood
storage area in a better way, carry out
the electrical connection between the
pumps and t he panel, open and
gradually bring the individual areas to
the desired temperature one after the
other.
