6.2 Connecting the pneumatic system

Install the DAV on a coordinate axis of the robot that is in the approach area
of a cleaning station, a welding device or an ATS rotor.
1 Screw the DAV to a vibration-free mounting surface with screws.
2 Adjust mounting bracket. For optimum access and installation, the mounting
bracket can be screwed to the cylinder in four positions each offset by 90°.
NOTE
• Use only purified and oiled compressed air for the DAV.
The operating pressure from 6 to a max. of 8 bar depends on the wire diameter
and the type of wire electrode.
