increases also the concen-
tration of the arc on the tip of
the tungsten making it more
stable and with a narrower
cone.
High frequencies will create
a louder arc.

With the variation of the soft-
ness, the time of transition
between positive and nega-
tive polarity changes.
Effects: low values of soft-
ness, will create a high sta-
bility of arc also on thin
material and a reduction of
the oxidation braking area.
On the other hand, low va-
lues of softness will increase
of the noise arc.
