11.1 COLD WIRE REGULATION DYNAMIC.
These below are the Cold Wire variables:
Description
Delay start
Delay stop
Continuos or Syncro ON mode
Syncro Cold Wire feeding frequency
Wire Retract
Delay start: Full synergy in AUTO mode.
Direct regulation in MAN mode.
Description:
Wire feeding starts when the welding arc is established (in 4 times
mode when the torch switch is released for the first time) and any-
way at the end of the up slope if selected.
This functions is necessary to start the feeding of the wire only
when the welding pool is ready. If foot remote control is used, this
time will start only after the striking of the arc.
Delay stop: Full synergy in AUTO mode.
Direct regulation in MAN mode.
Description:
Wire feeding stops before the end of the welding.
When the end of welding signal is given to the machine, the wire
feeding stops immediately, but the welding current continues for the
time of delay stop.
If foot remote control is used, wire feeding will stop when the wel-
ding current is at 50% or below of the set current.

Continuos or Syncro ON mode:
CONTINUOS: average wire feeding speed is visualised on the
instrument, eventually modified by the regulation of the current.
See Fig. 8 - 9 - 10.
Acronym
SYNCRO ON: wire feeding is given intermittently. Average wire

feeding speed is visualised on the instrument, but with times ON
DL Stop
and OFF of feeding. Synchronisation of the wire feeding pulsation
Cont. Syncro on
is synchronised to the welding current Pulsation (if activated).
Syncro Wire
If the welding current cycle is not pulsed, then the pulsation of the
-
wire feeding is synchronised with the Syncro Cold Wire feeding fre-
quency (Syncro Wire).

The welding synergy program will automatically drop the welding
current pulsation frequency if too high, this happens if the Syncro
mode is activated.
