. OTHER FUNCTION
1) "POWER SAVING SYSTEM" Function
The generators have an automatic power saving system, which
puts the generator in Stand by.
The inverter, the ventilation and the cooling unit stop so as to pre-
vent the wear and tear of time as well as accumulation of dust in the
system. The generator starts working automatically either when the
torch switch is pressed or when there is a contact between the elec-
trode and the welding piece.
The time to enter in stand by mode can be regulated from the
Service centre.
2) "GLICK CONTROL" Function
Using this function it is possible to reduce the value of the welding
current up to a 50% during the welding phase in 4 times.
This function is activated pressing and releasing the torch switch for
less than 300 milliseconds.

3) "CLEAN TUNGSTEN" Function (CLN TIG)
(Electrode cleaning) Only in TIG AC mode
The amount of the CLEAN levels is automatically set according to
the diameter of the tungsten fixed in the programme in use.
To put this function into operation the torch switch should be
pressed twice at close range.
While the CLEAN current is being released and for other 30 more
seconds of protection the display of the generator reads "CLN TIG".
Press the torch switch to interrupt the gas protection cycle.
NOTE: this function can be activated only to the first welding start
of the arc or after the postgas phase.

This function is used to
restore the tungsten tip in
the TIG AC welding.
