PROBLEM
The chain saw doesn't
start.
The chain saw does
not reach full power.
Unsatisfactory cutting
performance.
Excessive vibration/
noise.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. Unplugged power supply.
2. The switch is defective.
3. The brake is engaged.
4. The overload protection device
is activated by heavy usage.
1. Extension cord not suitable for
operation with this chain saw.
2. Power source (e.g. generator)
has too low voltage.
3. Air vents are blocked.
1. Saw chain not tensioned
properly.
2. Blunt saw chain.
1. Saw chain is dull/ damaged.
2. Bolts/nuts are loosen.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1. Plug in power supply.
2. Have the switch replaced by an
authorized service center.
3. Move the front handle guard
backward to make the brake
disengaged.
4. Wait for 1 minute to cool the
device before re-starting.
1. Use a proper extension cord.
2. Connect to another power
source.
3. Clean the air vents.
1. Tension properly.
2. Sharpen or replace the saw
chain.
1. Replace with a new one.
2. Tighten bolts/nuts.
