Make sure that the file is fully home in its housing. Pull on the file slightly to make sure that it is properly fitted.
Never press the contra angle push button while the motor is running.
Take care not to injure your finger when inserting or removing the file from its housing.
Stainless steel files cannot be used with this appliance. Titanium nickel files require care to be taken about the points
listed below to avoid breakages.
Before using a titanium nickel file, first enter the canal manually as far as the apical constriction with an ordinary file.
Never use force to insert the file into the contra angle.
Never use force to make the file enter the canal.
Titanium nickel files can sometimes break as a result of wear. Don't use the same file for treating more than 10 canals.
Maximum of 3 canals if there is significant curvature.
Follow the file manufacturer's directions: clinical protocol, duration of use, etc.
Never "jump" intermediate files. Files that are too big for the canals cause stoppage and reverse rotation of the motor.
Never use the same file to enlarge the same canal for more than 10 seconds.
Never use damaged files.
To work efficiently, you need to first acquire practice and experience. We recommend that the dentist practices on extract-
ed teeth or root models.
